David AI SMS & Messaging Policy
This policy describes David AI conversations by SMS, MMS and supported messaging services, including iMessage. Global Consultants, LLC (California, United States) operates David AI. This policy supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; their eligibility, acceptable-use, billing, intellectual-property, disclaimers and dispute-resolution provisions continue to apply. You must be at least 18 years old, have authority to use the phone number you connect, and meet the eligibility requirements in our Terms. David AI texting is optional. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase or of using the web app. Only connect a phone that you control; do not share your one-time linking code or sign-in link.
In the app, review this policy and the Terms, select the unchecked consent box, and request a one-time code. Send LINK followed by that code from your phone to David AI’s displayed number. The code expires and can be used once. The phone is connected only after that message is received and the code is verified. Connecting lets David AI use your Soul Profile and what you have shared with David AI in this phone conversation. It does not automatically enroll you in morning messages or marketing.
You can also initiate a conversation yourself. We may respond to what you request. To connect or create an account by text, send JOIN, review the disclosures, reply AGREE, and verify your email using the code sent to your inbox. We record the consent version and time for new account connections. Existing connections do not imply that you accepted a later policy version.
Messages may include your requested AI conversations, Soul Profile information, guided quizzes, wisdom, study, readings, requested artwork, account-linking instructions and support responses. Frequency varies with your requests. Automated responses are generated by David AI, not written or reviewed in real time by David Ghiyam or a member of staff.
Morning messages require a separate choice. Choose a whole-hour time and time zone in the app, affirm the morning-message consent, and save, or complete DAILY by text and confirm YES. When enabled, we schedule up to one morning message per local day, around the time selected. Delivery may be delayed. DAILY OFF turns off morning messages while leaving conversations available. Conversation consent does not authorize promotional campaigns; any marketing enrollment must have its own consent.
Connecting, setup instructions, saved-profile viewing, HELP, MENU, STATUS, STOP, START and other account controls are free of David AI message charges. Generated guidance and requested artwork use the SMS allowance or credit rate displayed for your account in the app. Only David AI’s delivered billable replies count; your messages and carrier segmentation do not create additional David AI reply charges. A reply containing a card is one David AI message. Morning messages are currently included without an additional David AI message charge. Review Account → Usage before using paid features; this policy does not enroll you in a paid plan, buy credits or change an existing subscription.
Your carrier’s message and data rates may apply to sending or receiving messages and media, including free David AI controls. Those charges are separate from David AI credits and depend on your carrier and plan.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe from David AI texts on this number. Standard equivalents such as STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT and REVOKE are also recognized. You may use the app’s Pause all texts control or contact support@davidghiyam.com for help stopping messages. We may send a final confirmation of your texted opt-out. Your account remains connected while texts are paused; guidance and scheduled morning messages stop. Explicit HELP or START requests can receive a control response.
Reply START from your phone to resume. Linking a new code does not silently undo STOP. Your saved morning preference may resume with START; turn it off with DAILY OFF or in the app if you do not want it.
Disconnect this phone in the app to remove its link to your account. Disconnecting turns off its morning preference and clears the current guided session and account personalization for that phone. It does not cancel your membership or delete account history. A disconnected phone can still initiate a guest conversation unless it has opted out. If you lose control of your phone number, disconnect it promptly and contact support. Never send a linking code from somebody else’s phone.
Reply HELP for instructions and support information, or email support@davidghiyam.com. MENU shows available features. If a code expires, request a new one in the app; the new code replaces the previous unused code. No message is sent merely by opening the phone’s messaging app; you must press Send.
Availability depends on your device, messaging service, wireless carrier and network. Rich cards, contact cards and voice notes may vary by service; photos are not currently interpreted. Messages can be delayed, blocked, duplicated by networks or fail. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on David AI texting for urgent communications.
Our Privacy Policy governs phone numbers, messages, profile information, attachments and consent records. Messaging, hosting and AI service providers process information needed to operate this feature. SMS and device notifications can be visible to your carrier, device account, lock screen, backups or anyone with access to your phone. A phone connection is not the same as the app’s Privacy Mode. Avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or information you do not want in a text thread. Requested artwork uses the theme you provide; do not include sensitive details in that request.
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell or share SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their independent marketing. Service providers may process consent and messages as necessary to provide the service, and disclosures required by law remain subject to our Privacy Policy. Disconnecting or replying STOP does not itself erase stored conversations. For privacy questions or verified deletion requests, contact privacy@davidghiyam.com as described in our Privacy Policy.
David AI offers spiritual mentorship, education and personal development reflection. Responses can be inaccurate or incomplete. It does not provide medical, psychological, legal or financial services, create a privileged relationship, or replace qualified professional care. It is not a crisis or emergency service; contact local emergency services in an emergency. The Terms’ acceptable-use rules apply to your texts, attachments and generated content.
We may update this policy as the service changes, subject to the notice and rights described in the Terms and applicable law. The effective version is shown on this page. A material expansion of recurring-message consent requires a new affirmative choice; we do not treat silence as consent.
